smokey purple (using Coastal Scents smokey eye palette)

Hey! Well as you know the Friday after Thanksgiving also know as Black Friday is the kick of to the holiday shopping season. There were many great deals available include on my favorite budget make-up site Coastal Scents. They were offering 33% offer and i tooke the chance to grab this palette as well as several other items (haulage coming soon). I revieced my pgoodies a few day later (two thumbs up for Coastal Scents super fast shipping) and i could wait to get to work! Here's the the results:

2nd Smokey blue

Here's the second look a sexy smokey blue great for a night out!








Base: NYX jumbo pencil in blackbean
lid: 8th color of 3rd row (cobalt blue)
inner lid/lower lash line: 5th color of the 4th row (shimmery grey)
blending/crease: 7th color of the 2nd row (reddish matte brown)
outer corner/crease/outer lash line: 7th color of 4th row (matte black)

For line I use maybelline cream liner in black and l'oreal volumious mascara. I also am wearing Mac's Lady Gaga lipstick, deep purple liner, and Natural lipgloss (both by NYX)

1st look Daytime Simple

I decided to use the ELF 32 color palette for the rest of the week to give it a good test drive! Heres the first look I created:







now like I said in a previous post these need a base but other than that I just used the shadows from this palette

Base: NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk
lid: 4th color in the 1st row (antique gold)
crease: 6th color in the 1st row (matte brown)
outer corner: 7th in the 4th row (matte black)
to finish the look off i use Revlon colorstay liner pen in black and L'oreal voluminous mascara in black. I'm also wearing MAC's raizin blush and touch lipstick. This is a perfect office look!

LOTD Medusa!

Hey ladies! I know it been a while but motherhood has been kicking my butt! I hope to be able to post at least twice a week! I really have learning so much and branching out in to other brands. One of my personal faves now is NYX! I also have be try to get more into lipsticks like bold reds, deep purples and hot pinks! So my most recent NYX purchase was very exciting and new to me! Its a color you may have heard of already NYX lipstick in "Medusa". Medusa is a deep beautiful rich purple lippie that is perfect for fall. I paired it with NYX "african queen" lipgloss and "deep purple" liner! I also used MAC's dirty plum blush on my cheeks! With such a bold lip i really wanted to keep the eyes soft and neutral!
