I know I've been slacking on my five E.L.F. looks I got side tracked by my black friday goodies. Last night I was on youtube and I one of the guru I sub to itsjudytime did this look using the E.L.F. palette so i had to recreate it!
For this look I prime my eyes with L'oreal decrease then used NYX blackbean as a base.
Inner lid: the 7th color in the 3rd row (bright blue)
outer lid/outer lower lash line: the 8th color in the 3rd row (deep cobalt blue)
crease/blending color: 7th ing the 2nd row (matte reddish brown)
mid lid/ lower lash line: 5th color in the 3rd row (spring green) applied wet on top of the bright blue.
To finish the look off I uses maybelline gel liner for the top liner and black raidance pencil liner in black for the water line. I used MAC Studio Fix mascara in black. For my cheeks and lips wanted to keep it simple and neutral, I contoured my cheeks lightly with MAC scuplt and shape powder and used MAC's blush in Peachtwist. On my lips I used L'oreal HIP liquid lipcolor in Splendid.
(Sidenote: the Coastal Scents 36 smokey palette can also be used for this look)

Review: Coastal Scents 36 Smokey Eye palette
Description: This exclusive palette designed by Coastal Scents artistic team is only available at Coastal Scents. This new 36 shade newly designed portable palette is going to be your next best friend. What makes this palette special is that it comes grouped into six divisible color spectrums, and each spectrum has six complementary shades. This gives you an infinite number of possibilities all in one palette.
The first section comes in golden oranges, rich browns & neutral highlighters
The second section is shades of vibrant greens with a touch of lemon and chocolate shades
The third section is rich with lavenders and a chocolate cherry shade. A surprise in this area comes in the top right color, because it looks pink/nude but is in fact a purple iridescent!
The fourth section is the silvery grey shades with a beautiful taupe shimmer.
The fifth section is vibrant blues with shimmery silver undertones.
The sixth section is delicate shades of pink with a bold black matte shadow with red sparkles. It also has another surprise shade which looks baby pink in the palette but comes in a lavender/white iridescent shimmer

If you read my blog or sub to me on youtube, you may know that I picked up Coastal Scents' new smokey eye palette a few weeks ago. I been using it alot since then! I love the fact the the colors are group together it take the guess work out of of what colors are go best together. The palette is very well made, not at all flimsy. However some of the colors are repeated from other palette so if you have quite a few of the Coastal Scents palette you can skip this one. Like in most palette there are some misses but alot of great shades and different finishes. However I do recommend that a primer and base be used to bring out the true color and ensure that the shadows are long lasting!
(note these shadows are about nickel size)
the neutrals
greens
purples
greys
blues
pinks
All swatches were made without a base or primer so, colors will be more vibrant if a base/primer is use. Overall for the price ($22.95) you are getting great deal!

Sleek Comestics!!!!!!!
I'm always on a quest to find new products without spending an arm and a leg via, youtube and other blog. A few weeks ago i was in search for an contour kit that had both a highlighting powder and a contour powder. I came across two MAC sculpt and shape powder (which is limited edition, i was able to find it on www.allwholesalecomestics.com) and Sleek cosmetics' Contour face kit.
For those of you unfamiliar with Sleek it is an UK brand only available to us (in the USA) via their website. I placed my order almost a month ago ( thumbs down) I'm not sure if this is the usually time it takes for the products to be shipped or if it was because of the Christmas shopping season. However, once the products were actually sent out it only took five business days for it to get here via USPS (thumbs up for that) so i revived them yesterday in the mail! I was pleasantly pleased with my products ( I also got a beautiful blush). The products are reasonably price the contour kit was 12.93 and the blush was 8.23 (the shipping was 13.50) and definitely worth every penny (not the wait though)! I used the contour kit yesterday and it performed just as well as the MAC!
Overall I do plan to give Sleek another shot, i here great thing about their eyeshadow palettes and there's a few more blushes I want, I just want to see if what took so long was do to the Christmas season or that's normally how long it takes!
Face Contour Kit
A highlighter and pressed powder kit, which can be used to help sculpt and define one’s features. This product contains two powders.
The darker powder is used to create shadows on the face, such as defining the jaw line or contouring the cheekbones. The lighter powder is the highlighter, used to reflect light off the face and can be placed in various places such as the apple of the cheeks, the temple, the tip of the nose etc. 14g via www.sleekmakeup.com
available in three shades light, medium and dark (i got the dark)
swatch of the contour and highlight color, blends beautifully
the blush pomegranate

MAC Classics: Girl About Town and Club
I went to my MAc stand two weeks ago and picked up to MAC "classics" that you may have already heard about "Girl about Town" lipstick and "Club" eyeshadow
First is "Girl About town" or "GAT" for short a lovely "fabulous fuchsia" lipstick. This looks lovely on beautiful brown skin! A must in any make-up lover collection
"GAT"
The next is "club" a reddish brown with green pearl eyeshadow that I have never seen dupe from any other make-up brand, high or low end. Ever verstile "club" can be woren in the crease, lid, outer corner or layer over other shadows. It too is another make-up must
All products can be found on www.maccosmetics.com
